Micro Spoons may not cast very far, but when used correctly they are very effective for any size and type of fish. (Match the Hatch)
Casting Micro Spoons
- By itself, I would highly recommend light action gear.
- For any type of water/water conditions.
- Great for rivers, rocky shores, and heavily fished areas.
Trolling Micro Spoons
- Great for long line trolling, by itself.
- Pair with a flasher down deep, or high in the water column. (Dodger, Spin Doctor, Rigs, etc.)
- I've done quite well trolling for Trout, Kokanee, and picking up Perch down deep.
